Ikat is a tradition that goes back 5,000 years in which silk is boiled over an open fire, hand dyed, and then hand woven on a small loom. Each Wolf & Willa bag is created with this process. These pieces are hand woven in Uzbekistan before being passed to their atelier in Istanbul where each bag is hand sewn, creating a unique and beautiful piece that reflects an age old tradition.
