Chris Leba created R13 in 2009 as a denim-brand. It serves as a grunge exploration - artfully ripped jeans, high-spirited patterns, and major attitude. Today they have developed into more than just a denim brand carrying tops, shoes, accessories, and more! Leba says that the overall feel for the brand came from the film The Hunger - to him, it is the feeling of R13 because it reminds him of what he had wanted to achieve. Inspiration for the brand also comes from the 80s and 90s rock scene.
